Your playable gift: privacy & photo retention

Drafts, uploaded photos and generated characters are stored privately. Your browser session or purchaser management link grants access to your project. Authorized staff can review it to produce the gift, resolve a problem or handle a privacy request.

Anyone you give the recipient link to can play the released game and see its included memories. Keep purchaser management links to yourself. Only upload photos and messages you have permission to use.

• Original photo files: 30 days after upload. We then remove the original file. A resized copy without photo metadata can remain for character creation and memories while the project is active.
• Unpurchased drafts: 30 days after creation. Editing a draft does not restart this period. Expired drafts cannot be reopened.
• Unused uploads: eligible for removal after 24 hours. This applies to photos in an unpurchased draft that were uploaded but never attached to a saved character or memory. You may need to upload them again if you leave before saving that step.
• Purchased gifts: one year after payment confirmation. The project includes its resized photos, generated artwork, names, memories and messages. The private game link stops working when the project expires.

Removal runs automatically in hourly batches. A busy queue or an active processing task may delay removal; it does not extend access to an expired gift. Removed content cannot be restored through the game or its editor.

We remove project photos, generated media, names, personal messages and the stored order contact email. Order references, payment identifiers, amounts, payment status and generation-cost records remain for accounting and payment support. Expiration does not itself cancel or refund a payment.

This cleanup covers our application storage. It cannot remove copies already downloaded by you or someone you shared the gift with, or records retained separately by a service provider.

Character creation sends the relevant photos or approved character reference to fal through our server. Online payment is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Email delivery uses your order email to send gift access information. These providers process the information needed for their part of the service.

Game and ordering analytics record events such as a completed level or checkout. They do not include your photos, names, messages or memory text.

Contact support with your order reference or the email used at checkout. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Do not send a recipient or management link in a public message.
